Mama Shelter

Bordeaux is one of the French’s favorite cities and it can be easily understood. A city where gastronomy and culture meet an exceptional countryside. MAMA fell in love with Bordeaux too, and gives you the secrets of a good stay.

MAMA says let’s eat

Bordeaux is famous for being one of the cities that provides the best places to eat. Don't forget to try our restaurant . But we are also here to give you tips : La Cagette, le Petit Commerce, le Chapon Fin, la Brasserie Bordelaise, la Tupina, la Belle Campagne or A Cantina...

MAMA says go out

Don’t quit Bordeaux without tasting the great wines of Les 4 Coins du Vin or the delicious cocktails of l’Alchimiste. For those who like clubbing, the iBoat club is probably the place that hosts the best selection of Djs from all over the world.

MAMA says educate yourself

Bordeaux is a very rich town in terms of cultural offers. You will probably find the best museums made for you. So don't stay in your room appreciating its design by Starck for too long, and enjoy the city : The Museum of fine arts, The CAPC (modern art), and of course the Museum of Wine. You can also try the Submarine Base which is a former war building turned into an exhibition center.

MAMA says let’s shop

Bordeaux is full of little shops where you can buy great souvenirs, you will love to discover them while walking from a block to another. The street culture lovers will appreciate the shops in rue du Pas St George or rue Saint James, meanwhile luxury brands can be found in the Cours de l’Intendance. And don't forget our
shop : it's a real Ali Baba cave!

MAMA says don’t miss

Bordeaux would not be that beautiful without its vineyards. You can drive to discover all the wine-growing region around the town and especially the lovely city of Saint Emilion. Those who love the sea will highly appreciate Arcachon or the Dune of Pilat, 40 minutes driving from Bordeaux.
