Olivier Cachin is a journalist, essayist and a TV show host (Rapline). He wrote books including "The Rap Dictionnary" and the "The History of Rap in 100 Essential LPs".

Through Rapline and his magazine L'Affiche, where he wittedly analyzed rap through funk, punk, ska and other music, an entire generation discovered the early days of US and French rap.
